This Sunday, (February 4th), do not forget about our Family Day/SuperBowL Party...  We will start at around 2pm, with some flag football.  We will then go over to the gym for some yummy food, (if you want to bring something, feel free...).

We will watch the game on the big screen that we have, and chill out with our friends and family.  During halftime, we will enjoy some really good music from Jesiah and a few others.

Make sure you come out and bring some friends with you.  EVERYONE IS WELCOME...

If you have any questions, or want to help us out with set-up/tear-down, call the office: (732) 363-3168.

Winter Retreat

March is certainly around the corner, so it's probably smart to start planning for this year's Winter Retreat  (March 2-4)

1. So, how much is it?  The cost is $99, if you make pre-registration deadline on February 16th, otherwise it is $109. This is slightly higher than what Youth Convention cost you, but it is an entire day and two nights longer than convention was.  Also, all of your meals at the camp will be taken care of for the three days.

2. And where is it, again?  It will be taking place at Rock Mountain Bible Camp in Gibson, Pennsylvania.  (1 Beaver Creek Road / South Gibson, PA 18842)

3. What to bring:  Please remember, yes, you will be away from home for three entire days, but this should not constitute you bringing to the camp everything but the actual dresser from your.  The bus we will be taking to Retreat is only so big and cannot contain everyone's ENTIRE wardrobe from home.  Therefore, pack appropriately, but try to keep it light.  Some things to DEFINITELY not forget:  B-I-B-L-E (yes that's the book for me), clothes, WARM clothes (it is winter and we might be snow tubing, however, it can get hot during services, so layers are good), pajamas, WARM pajamas, sleeping bag / sheets / pillow / etc. (no you will not be sleeping on the floor, but you need it for the bunk...), toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste, soap, shampoo/conditioner, towel/washcloth, flip-flops [for the showers], etc.), flashlight (the bathrooms can be pretty far from your cabin and it does get dark out pretty early...), money / snacks (money for food on the way up/down, & snacks for the trip), whatever else you can think of...

4. What NOT to bring: ANYTHING of extreme value (i.e. diamond rings, 10 karat gold necklaces, $100 bills, dad's credit card, etc.), NO electronic devices of any sort (cell phones are allowed, but ONLY for you to call mommy & daddy)...

5. Why should I go to this Winter Retreat? Well, not only will this be an amazingly fun experience with great memories, but it will be another great opportunity to seek God and grow closer to Him with countless other teens your age.  DON'T MISS IT!!!

If you have ANY questions, or for those parents who have questions, DO NOT hesitate to give us a call: (732) 363-3168.

Happy 2007, F.U.E.L!!!

Well, 2006 came and went...  F.U.E.L had some awesome times this past year.  Whether it was acting out a skit in the middle of Paraguay, coaching some kids in basketball at VBS, or helpling out Miss Pat right here at the House of Blessing, you guys were great, and we are excited about what God has in store for us in '07.

The question is are we gonna take up the challenge this year to follow God no matter what, whether it's easy or not?  Remember the theme last year at Youth Convention, sacrifice? Sometimes, we will have to sacrifice what we want in order to do the awesome work God has for us to do.  It might be hard, but anything that is difficult to attain is worth the struggle.

So let's make this an even more memorable year than '06 and be all that God wants us to be.  Let's break the "it's all about me" stereotype that plagues our generation, and be lights to a lost and dying world.  And let's see what happens when we completely surrender an entire year to the King...

"I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing."  -2 Samuel 24:24
